For over 52 years, the Alleluia Folk Group has been privileged to serve Holy Family Parish in San Jose, California—a welcoming, Christ-centered community called to live the Gospel, celebrate the Sacraments, hand on the Catholic tradition, and take part in building up the Body of Christ.
We are a vibrant community of 25-30 dedicated musicians who share a common passion for enhancing liturgical celebrations through the gift of music. Our group brings together vocalists and instrumentalists of all ages and musical backgrounds—from guitars and keyboards to drums and more—united in our commitment to creating prayerful, reverent, and joyous music that enriches the worship experience of our parish family.
We support Holy Family Parish's mission to build up the Body of Christ through music that inspires worship, fosters community, and draws all who participate deeper into the mystery of faith. We are dedicated to providing prayerful, reverent, and joyous music that creates a sacred atmosphere and enriches the spiritual experience of our parish family at every Mass and celebration.
We provide music for Sunday Masses two or three weekends per month throughout the year, contributing to the liturgical experience for our parish community.
Our dedicated musicians gather for evening practices to prepare meaningful music for upcoming celebrations.
We enrich Christmas, Easter, and other special liturgical celebrations with sacred and seasonal music.
